Time travel has been, in fact, invented!

Sometimes, all I need is a couple of hours of jazz music, with the bright sun outside and work files in front, to go back to New York in 50s in an office room of a newspaper headquarters probably:), and to enjoy my work back then;).

Jazz Semai

In 1978, Erol Pekcan, Tuna Ötenel and Kudret Öztoprak ‎came up with a very dynamic, subtle, and sometimes melancholic set of songs, compiled in an album calld "Jazz Semai".


Semai is a type of folkloric singing associated to Anatolia. It therefore gives a hint of the local Turkish influences in the western standards of the album.
